01 · Overview
Nordic Focus is a Pomodoro-style focus timer designed to help you work with calm, Nordic clarity. This Privacy Policy explains how Norvex AB (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the Nordic Focus application (“App”) on Android.
The short version: Nordic Focus is a fully offline, local application. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data whatsoever. All session data exists only on your device and never leaves it.
02 · Information We Do Not Collect
The App does not collect or process any of the following: personal identifiers (name, email address, phone number, device ID), location data of any kind, usage analytics or behavioral data, crash reports or diagnostics transmitted off-device, financial or payment information, contacts, calendar, or any other device content, or microphone, camera, and sensor data.
There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no cloud sync. The App operates entirely without an internet connection.
03 · Information Stored Locally on Your Device
Nordic Focus stores the following data exclusively on your device to provide core functionality: session count, minutes focused, and current timer state are held in application memory during active use. This data is not persisted to device storage beyond the current app session.
This data never leaves your device, is never transmitted to any server, and is never accessible by Norvex AB or any third party.
04 · App Permissions
Nordic Focus requests no special Android permissions. The App does not request access to the internet, storage or file system, notifications, or any hardware sensors.
05 · Third-Party Services & SDKs
Nordic Focus does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics platforms, or crash-reporting services. There are no third parties that receive any information through your use of the App. The App does not display advertisements.
06 · Children’s Privacy
Nordic Focus does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). Because the App collects no personal data at all, it is safe for users of all ages.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us — though we do not anticipate this is possible given the App’s design.
07 · Data Security
Because Nordic Focus does not collect or transmit personal data, the traditional risks of data breaches, unauthorized access, or data leakage from a server do not apply. All temporary in-memory state is governed by Android’s standard application isolation model and is cleared when the App is closed.
08 · Your Rights
Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR and CCPA where relevant), you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Because we hold no personal data, these rights are satisfied by default.
To remove all App data, simply uninstall Nordic Focus from your device using the standard Android uninstall process.
09 · Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the App’s functionality changes in a way that affects data handling. Any material changes will be reflected in an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, communicated via the Google Play Store listing. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
